Crazy 5712 by SWF and VSV cal. 240 Super Clone

The watch is here! I can’t be happier … the movement engraving and dial the bracelet and case… is superb! Putting this replica next to my gen JLC MC geographic which costs 10x more … I actually dunno why I would need a gen lol!!

Looks beautiful. My 5712 from Chazingtime also arrived last week but I'm travelling for the next few weeks so won't get to see it in person for a bit. Hopefully I don't have the same issue with the rotor movement . Will post a review of mine on this thread as well.

Rotor is fixed apparently they installed the tension spring in the wrong side of the clutch winding gear!

I know few ppl who have it, some complaint about material degradation, some are happy and no complaints so far, but it's relatively new and we still need a bit of time to make clear judgment about it ( by it's doesn't look 100% like gen).

I am building 5712 project, all the experts I asked recommended not install it now.

Its mysterious and doesn't take any gen parts, so in case it's broken, I am not sure how it can be fixed.

Please share any information you have , we all learn from each other .

Back to topic, just a quick question, for the 1500+USD 5711 SWF version over at Chazingtime, they use which base? PPF? And what is the consensus? Is it a good buy?

You d rather buy a base watch and upgrade it yourself with your best modder…

They use PPf base AFAIK, if it's better than 5711 or not, I am not really sure.

I ordered 5712 form NTD, it's very beautiful watch, but there is some minor issues ( SW markers are more roundned than Gen, the 6 clock marker shape, the space between double digits data( more obvious in 23,25,27,29).

So all in all, I think the 5711, could be easier to get closer the Gen ( if you get dail color close)



The 320 caliber movement in 5711 is definitely more stable than 240 of the 5712

So if you like the 5711, it's maybe better option.
