Just chanced on this forum, and currently interested in collecting some rep AP ROOs. Because of my travels have been accumulating about 60+ pcs of reps but alas, only recently getting to know the better quality ones.

ya i did bro, but i tink it will need alot of work to mod to gen-like.

i did some research and there are some issues like wrong cyclops, smaller caseset, thin DW fonts etc etc.

the ultimate cartel version would def be a much betta base to work on with this issues already fixed. px diff is around 100usd more for all this straightened out which imho is a plus factor.

other mods to bring it closer to gen-like would be a T48 crown, TB CG, superluming the dial etc.

mostlikely will be shelving the 88 project till i've found a gd piece. looking at the PAM 24A sub now

i too started buying reps on overseas trips and i thought those were good enough already, till i stumbled upon the super rep world where there are even better reps OTB, the fun of this hobby is to make the watch even more gen!

Asheron - one day... one day I will take a pic. I have these in a standard chinese watch seller's metal suitcase, but it holds only 48pcs on two sides. The rest are loose.
Its embarassing lah, a lot of these... I thought they were good stuff but actually does not hold a candle to what I see here.

Hi all,
Living in the east coast area.
Came across this forum a while ago. I’m glad I’m not alone in this hobby. I was beginning to think this was an abnormal hobby or something.
I bought my first rep in HK from the ladies market. It was the best I could find there but not exactly a good one. mid-level maybe. A few months later I was in SZ and got a better GMT master II with the ceramic bezel. It’s been my fav watch till now mainly because I haven’t had the chance to travel that way. Buying online seemed too risky but now that I've found this place I've just ordered another 3 reps!
Please put me in the mailing list and also put me up for gatherings. I’m also keen to learn and hopefully one day contribute back to the forum.
