I picked up the gen from my AD today.

Seems like the lugs on the rep could use a little more work but still really good!

As always, great work. Any first impressions on the movement?

It is very nice finish on all bridges, wheels as predicted same quality as vr
Didn’t try all gen parts as don’t have any reason to do that but as you see gen balance and bridge fits with no issues
Gen auto module straight fit as well
Gen date disc don’t fit as they made date indicator seating to fit 3135 date disc
You can replace the indicator to gen but then date window in rep dial won’t line up with gen date disc- only slightly but still no go
Then you need gen dial and it may not fit into rep case (I don’t know, don’t have gen dial)
Gen hands fit as they wheels are same post diameter
Testing for power reserve now and is on 50h so far

The prosecution rests. All I needed to know to pull the trigger. Thanks Mike!

Beautiful, if you have the rep as well, would you mind taking some pics of it next to the gen? what do you think about the crystal in the rep vs the gen?

I compared it with a friend’s 126610 rep. I only have a 116610 Franken.

The biggest tell for me was the shape of the lugs - the lines on the rep are less curved.

Should definitely change that rep crystal.

I’m about to pull trigger on VSF 41mm 126610 LN.
i sold almost all my Rolex collection and went with Panerai. Now I feel like getting at least 4 Rolex and throw them into the mix. Vsf 41mm LN, vsf Hulk (I still feel that bezel color is noticeably off), Panda, and probably Milgauss.

I've been saying the lug profile has been messed up for a while now in the rep but everyone calls me a troll for it. Glad a gen owner sees what I see. Vindicated :)

Congrats on the purchase, it's stunning.

I guess to early to talk about reliability etc but does anyone have an idea how technically difficult this latest movement would be to service or fix ?
