Sorry for the long wait and the review is about to finish, I hope everyone can take part in the review so I created some blind rating threads in my section and please rate those SUBs with your own opinions. I will reveal the actual maker of the watches in one week time together with my review of all the 5 most popular Sub in the market.

The candidates are GEN, ZF, ZZF V3, VSF, ARF V4 and NOOB V11.

I'll help, I will work my way through the list over the week. However, these watches all look good in pictures. You have them all in hand next to a gen. You can 'feel' them, you can feel the quality of the finishing of sidelinks and tightness of glidelocks. I bought a zzfv2s because it looked great in pictures but it was junk.

Can you give us your honest opinion which one looks, feels and most gen like best?

Interesting project, thanks for investing the time! Will go through the ratings tomorrow. I agree with modernclassic though that the feel on the wrist makes a watch to a great extent. Everyone's different as to what matters in a watch, e.g. I can live with a few flaws if the bracelet feels great.

This will be hilarious people trying to work out which one is theirs first then rating them. Ha

I will try to spend some time on this, too.

Shouldn't have labelled the GEN, just applied another letter to it. Would have been interesting.

Are you going to participate on the grading? You were very vocal about your ZF purchase lol. Big respect if you do participate.

I will, but to be honest I had a look at the front view photos and apart from the chunky lugs on the arf I didn't see bugger all difference in any of them.

The front view one's going to be popular because you can read the serials. Let's see how many are willing to call on the pics where you have no idea. For some reason I've been labelled a zf fanboy even though I've repeated a million times I think they're all good. Calling any of them shit including noob is disingenuous, which is what I have argued about. .

It's ok and expected, the result can also show the popularity of the maker before the review and how many of them may be wrong when choosing their watches.

I will try to spend some time on this, too.

The gen is heavily worn so it is easy to spot, I had a brand new from ARF but the review took too much time and they asked the watch back.

I’m not approaching it that way at all
im starting with 10 points and start deducting when I see flaws. The bigger the flaw the more points lost.
