What’s your opinion regarding the movement? Any issues or weak points that could be problematic in the long run?

Great quality pictures! As far as you know does it have any interchangeable parts with gen? Can it accept gen balance wheel after some modifications?

Didn't see anything unusual, I think I like it better than VR. Parts fitment is better than vr, feels solid... But as with all reps I had very good VRs and very bad VRs so we will see in the long run how are those.

oascom you are a legend. Thanks for taking the time. The detail in these images is amazing.

I take it the balance doesn't suck and made it out of the parts washer in this instance?...

Never seen such a micro shots of the parts in other threads unlike yours.
Awesome perspective.

Appreciate your observations!

oascom thanks for this. Amazing to see the details. Do you think the movements should be serviced straight away? Were they under or over oiled? Dirty? Etc. Appreciate it’s just the one movement but I’d be curious to hear your thoughts. Thanks

Well that shellac alone could clog the jawel or escape wheel. So yeah just based on that I would suggest service.
