ZZF V3 Submariners up on Jtime

First thoughts:

The gen dial has a deeper and darker sunburst tone. Side by side it's pretty obvious.

The thickness of the ZZF DW font is slimmer.

Markers on the rep look more flat.

Not sure if it's the rep crystal, somehow it looks more cloudy then the gen. Maybe a prof crystal will solve it.

The arf insert is known to flake. Colour isnt everything in fact its easy to replicate with paint

If the only consideration is the colour of the insert numbers you can colour match with paint which no doubt some do. I mean shitters from the gate are brighter in low light. Plating is obviously more difficult to match because of the process. They arent intentionally fucking up the colour. Im doubtful that pre v10 noobs or arf use plating. Arf is known to make the insert numbers deeper to try and avoid flaking

A few more pics of mine. Overall I'm pretty happy with it. I wish I hadn't seen the minute marker issue but it's definitely there. Aside from sitting too low, I think the crystal looks good... decent black hole effect.

My genuine Sub has the 'minute marker issue' if it even is an issue, which it isn't! Watch looks good, even has the same minute flaws a real one, we can't really complain about that!
