Who Makes the Best Submariner?

Looking to buy a near perfect reproduction of the Submariner Date with the black dial/face. Who should I contact and how do I get in touch with them? One of the guides suggested TC, but I just figured out TC is out of business.

My next question is: wearing a Submariner date on a semi-regular basis, especially to work, is realistic right? I could realistically say I bought it used for $7k. Or is the Submariner still one of those watches that stays in the safe and only comes out on special occasions?

If you want a watch to wear to work without people questioning whether it's real or not simply don't get a Rolex, it doesn't matter what cover story you come up with if you suddenly turn up with the most faked brand in the world on your wrist there will always be a doubt in people's minds (unless you own the company of course).
why not look at something like an omega 300 more interesting and original option

You should first spend some time here as well before you make thread that has been made 288448 times by now.

To your first question - go to the TD section, it's linked at the top of every page.

To your second question. For the money you mention, there are plenty of 5 digit Subs available (this is the 16610 series - with aluminium bezels instead of the latest ceramic bezel. And it's the best Sub, others may agree to differ...) . This is the Sub that TC used to make. More recently they have been made by BP or JF. However, the latest news is that there will soon be a new version on the market, made by the well-regarded factory ARF.

Like others, I suggest you do some further reading before progressing any further with your plans.

Also I can't believe the lack of abuse you've received for posting a "who makes the best Sub?" thread. But it's early days.

The R Factory is based in Seoul, South Korea, unlike most replica factories which are in or around Guangzou China, which is why it's difficult to find info on it - just Google The R Seoul Factory.
