NEW PROJECT - DW for ARF DJ 41

Hi to all of you guys, for all those who in these months have faced the problem of the ARF DJ41 date wheel (font is too thick), I have news. In recent weeks, Johnny Depp worked on my DJ to replace glass with a gen and date. Hence the idea. Why glue a date wheel when we could make it easier for everyone? Following the tests I have made with digital printing machines. The font and the centering are made starting from a gen 3235 DW printing directly on the 2824 DW. Obviously this same logic can be adopted in the future for printing of datewheels that are difficult to find on the market. Stay tuned, in the coming weeks I will give you news about it as soon as Johnny Depp will install it so you can also take photos of the finished work.

great idea, good luck.
just a small tip, i remember TC used to explain once how he managed to get a perfectly centered DWO.
and as far as i can remember the DWO also had small markers on the exterior edges to help him install it easily.

Ty mate, mine won't be an overlay but will be printed directly the only difference is that on gen (or tc) the print finish is glossy, on mine will be matte; but i'm confident that it won't be noticeable once installed

oh i see, i thought you were going to print an overlay.
although i think it will be noticeable due to cyclop magnification

Also make sure its 100% centered please! Very OCD on DW which is misaligned

That's my job tomorrow i'll give another try spraying the white base with paint and not printing it with the machine

I installed the tc overlay on my tc using the markers but it has been a pain in the ass...

Some numbers centered perfect, some others not perfect.
There is this mask that help a lot but it is always an overlay solution.

If this guy will find a way for printing centered directly on the virgin 2828 dateweel...it could be the final best solution!
