Great pics bro, and completely agree in this day of $500 and up reps, these babies are a welcome relief.

IDK what is up with BP 16710 GMT dials but be aware there are two versions. The current batch is NOT the one pictured in your link. I tried to get it from Ryan, who also pictures it on his site.

Before paying, he assured me he could get this version dial, well guess what. Here's what he got. After checking with the factory "Sorry the current batch is all this way". Nice.

It's still good watch but the dial is not as good as the other version. That dial crown is pretty ugly (oxymoron) IMO. It was only ever used on the DSSD MK1 dial in gen and NEVER on any GMTs. Plus it's a stick dial which was quite rare in gen and easily called out.

I really like this one, thanks to KJ2020 for the heads up on this range from BP.

General thoughts in no particular order.

Bracelet, has some sharp edges on the link edges, not on the outside of the bracelet, just on the inside.
Nothing a quick once over with a dremel and some felt won't fix.
The clasp is quite reppy, and will benefit from the same.

Date, the window is slightly too square shaped, and on mine the date sits slightly low. Easy to fix that though.
The font is a tad bold, but not too terrible. Some of the fatter 2 digit dates - 25 for example, look a bit tight in the date window which isn't wide enough.
YMMV on this, but in my view, this is the only significant flaw.

Bezel, this has the best bezel action on any Rolex rep I have.
Its a surprize as the bezel action on my BP Sea Dweller is the worst.

Dial and hands, indices at 12,6,9 - I wouldnt describe them as rounded, but not as sharp as on an ARF either.
Dial print is good, hands are too flat, but on par with Noob hands.

SEL's, recessed, would have preferred them slightly deeper set, but they're passable.

Overall, I'm very happy. For $240 it's a sensational rep.

Unfortunately he replied that the factory told him the watch is out of stock, which doesn't really surprise me when I saw that the watch was added to the TSWatch site on 18 June 2013!

I understood from your review however that you got this Serti dial watch only recently. Can you tell me how you managed to get one?

Haha good description! No I rejected it because I already have one. I was buying the whole watch just to get the dial. BTW Yuki just added a very nice GMT 16710 ETA dial to his store. Unfortunately the date window is in the ETA position, not the Rolex position. The BP GMTs have the date window in the Rolex position, I don't want to step backward on that issue. It would require a new ETA DW with Rolex fonts and a new crystal or move the cyclops. Shame because it's quite a nice dial.

I’m just 25 now, and going to school... the LB version attracts too much attention for me ftm! Would love to build a LN version, and in the future, will swap to a LB or maybe build another one! But an LN or a GMT build is always on a wishlist!
