Just in, Noob 4130, love it! Case is amazing, see how nicely it sits on wrist making the caseback to disappear!! Bracelet is extremely well made, such easy to resize unlike all other makers.. I like the dial with whatever flows there are, watch looks and feels close to gen but as I said many times I am no Daytona expert

Not an issue, see my pic. Why should it not fit when it is the same size?

Yes sorry, I missed the bit above. Looking forward to seeing the finished article.

great work. I will use a lathe but this looks good too. I will do a testrun too. I am afraid that the dial could brake. So good to know this option with Sandpaper.
Did you try to fit it in the case?

Still waiting on my watch bro. Now my bigger worry is that I don't upset the keyless works removing the stem. Any advice or tips would be appreciated. Not ever worked on a 4130 before.

I can check regarding the keyless scru up but what I read was that the stem needs to be in the first position when you release it. I will check with my watchmaker. Check out slauthers thread about the movement. I think he wrote something about it.

Hi, when the dial is shaved to 28.6 mm it should fit without modding the case. Gen Rolex dial is 28.5 mm, noob is 28.6 and
gen dial is 28.5mm. 28.6 mm is the inner lip and it is holding the dial in position.I wrote this already in another thread. Here the the picture of the case showing the lip. I have 3 ARF dials now but waiting for the watches

my modder has shaved my BP dial a little bit. But he told me that if he went any further he would ruin the white lines around the daytona dial edge/profile. And in this way it would have ruined the dial making it unusable. In this photo you can see how the BP dial was much bigger than the noob (white) on the left.

And there the dial after shaving a bit.

Finally here you can see the BP dial after shaving inside the case that still not fit due the case “lip” problem

Probably better off milling the case?

Yes, push the release pin when the stem is in winding position
Never do that in time adjusting position, the keyless will be damage when you trying to push back the stem

This is only for 4130? I thought for the 3135 you are supposed to release the stem in the time setting position.

lukko Can you measure how big size of your dial is now after shaving? The ARF dial needs to be shaved by one mm. There is enough space around the dial to cut away. It needs to be 28.6 mm.
I do not understand why it should not fit with this size!
I am still waiting for my watch to arrive.

On the ARF dial is enough meet to cut away.

Sure looks like there is enough to cut away on the BP dial as well.

Very nice I received mine last week. Are you getting the 60 hour power reserve from yours? Have the hour/min arms stopped at any point on first second wind?

From you pic BP and ARF seems to have the same tolerance space to cut. However certainly, i will measure it when I receive the back. Look at the photos of how it was before the shaved:

The BP dial has a lot of space to shave the edge. I think that you gain almost 1mm for the whole shaved contour. My modder has already shaved the dial, but he says that actually the dial still does not fit on the Noob case and shave it more than that would mean ruining it because he should also cut away the white lines along the profile of the dial coming almost to the indices. His things makes me think that the dial has a different layout.

But this seems strange to me because he said to me that by removing the inner lip inside the case the BP dial could be fitted. So why removing the lip this can be fitted and limiting it only shave it not? This seems strange to me. However, in these last photos you can see how the Noob stock dial on the movement remains smaller than the movement above, just like the gen dial, while BP leaning on the Noob movement is much large and cover the movement.

The BP dial can be and needs to be shaved more. You have a full 1.5mm or more space outside the white lines that can go, even now after it's been shaved.
