I wonder if this time they decided to make their own version of the Fibritech material, or, as with the previous release, they just use a different shade of Carbotech from this material? In general, 1662 and 1663 please me more than all the latest releases. It seems like it will be pretty cool too, although not sure how they will replicate this powdery blue dial gradient.
In my opinion they should reissue the old classics.
Now that they have better options to make the movements fit in closer to gen measurements, better techniques to make the lume much better, etc.
I would love to see the 088, 187, 210, 113, 029, 087, etc, again.
It’s true that the novelties are tremendously attractive, but those pieces were, from my point of view, much more wearable by people with "normal" economies like me.
I cannot go to work with a watch of 16k € or more. Because it is incoherent with my way of life.

Think the latter, lighter coloured Carbotech would be my guess too...
Still I like this one more than the 1662 I just ordered and would be rude if I didn't have a word with my TD ;-)
Surprisingly, I waited for 1662 and in the end I also like 1663 more, although I'm not a fan of blue dials and carbon (or related) cases, but the overall impression of 1663 wins so far. Perhaps because most of the blue dials have a sunburst effect and look shiny, but this one is discreet in its own way. I'll be careful and wait for someone else's QC photos to make a decision.
I'll post my QCs if I pull the trigger on the 1663..
Who has it available?
I checked a few and haven't seen it posted yet. Is this available yet? Anyone get a thimbup?
