I'm pretty sure that they'll mess up something very obvious, so I'm eagerly waiting for the V2 sometime in January. If I've learned anything about this game over the years, is to be patient and NOT be an early adopter.

I got one of the first batch/version of the PO 42mm which was and is still perfect. Later batches had ceramic scuff issues and were mislabeled. So we'll see. I'll definitely be a gp for this one.

Actually, in my experience with VSF, what happens is that the first batch has some flaws in terms of replication but is close to perfect in terms of QC, while later batches, when they ramp up productions tend to be closer to gen but with glaring QC issues

I have been here for over 13 years and one thing I learned, is Rep factory always forget something when they learn something else.

That said, even the ''worst'' rep of today are nearly super rep of 2000s.

As Vric says, looks like it's sticking up from the dial rather than engraved into it. This photo I think shows it best:
