Hello, guys. Do somebody of you have an experience with this timepiece?:) There are just plenty of Aqua Terra threads here, and even less threads about 38.5mm version.

I really, really like it. I'm in love with midsize and in my opinion it is the versatile and beautiful beater. But I want the watch to serve me for many many years (maybe I'm asking too much for 300$), is that even possible with a replica?

I also want to talk about servicing. It has 2824, which should be reliable, but is very specifically decorated. Would it be very hard to get spare parts for it, what do you think?

The aesthetics of this piece is definitely going to make me happy. However, I'm concerned about technical side of the watch.

No experience with it, but being a guy with smallish wrist I'm interested in it too!
For me everything past 41mm is a no-go :D

I prefer the AT midsized. It wears big. I wear my Bond Seamaster in its full 41mm size, no problem. But tried on the 41mm AT once and it looked big and gaudy around my wrist. The AT in 38.5mm size fits me better.

My midsized AT...

Seems very nice!
I was just hoping that somebody would share their rep experience here:)

I have this exact watch in 38.5mm. Simply put, it's perfect for my 6.5 -6.75 inch wrist. The finishing on the watch is quality, the movement is super smooth and accurate. The only difference from the gen is the font on the date wheel isn't the same. But it's a minor issue for a well made rep.

These are among my favourites. Can look sporty or dressy. Looks equally great on the bracelet or a variety of leather straps. As far as the size they wear nicely on my 7 1/2 in. wrist. If you like the style, you won't be disappointed with the quality and the look.

Is it a black or grey dial? Hard to tell with the light. Looks very nice together with the brown strap.

I bet it's black. I think there is no grey dial existing for this watch, at least for 38,5mm version

The one with the brown strap is clearly a grey dial. The black will look darker and more lacquered having handled the black one a few days ago.

I hesitate between a Seiko SARB033 and a AT rep... I'm veryyyy tempt to come back to rep world and give another swirl/testdrive to the BLUE MIDSIZE from Trusty, but I need feedback from some owners.

Any comments about the blue color vs gen and, about the AR coating, it will be appreciate (for those of you that own it)...The video at Trusty looks like to has AR coating, but the one at PureTime show a lot of reflection in the video, so I doubt it is coated, or maybe, it not come from the same factory... https://puretime03.com/aqua-terra-38-5mm-ss-blue-textured-dial-on-ss-bracelet-a8500.html

I had exactly same problem as you, choosing between SARB and AT rep. Ended up getting IWC ahaha
Sarb is really nice, midsized, bracelet, all you can wish for. However, it just does not feel right for me to buy SARB when there are so many beautiful reps out there :)

I think I saw somewhere on the forum that blue dial is not that good, not really close to gen.
It's up to you, but I couldn't pull the trigger because of not-so-good rotor decoration(since it's an open caseback), who knows if there is AR coating there.
But I highly doubt you would regret buying it, seems like really good watch.
BTW, I think both tt version and puretime version are from the same factory, as far as I'm concerned, there is only one factory producing midsize AT.

I have a confirmation from Andrew that the 41mm and the 38mm has AR coating.
"
Yes. They do both have AR on the sapphire glass. Thanks.

The IWC mark XVIII is/was on my wish list too...but, I read somewhere that the lug to lug size is pretty high, near 50mm, little too long for my 6.25 flat wrist. I think this quest will end by just stacking more cash for a gen, a Sinn 556i :02.47-tranquillity:
