Bought a 5513 and 1680. Just received yesterday. A most satisfactory transaction from a great seller.

Just received a 1680 from MR. An amazing transaction throughout, very attentive to my questions. DG2813 version running more accurately than my other Seiko autos so far!

MR is awesome.

Did you have any trouble resizing the bracelet? I can't get some of the screws open...

Yes, I had plenty of trouble.

Various things I've tried:
- putting the links in WD40 overnight
- putting the links in acetone (hours)
- buying a better screwdriver
- boiling links (not the watch obviously)

After a lot of elbow grease and some badly messed up screws, I was successful. But then my wrist is still too small after modifying.

I ended up removing one of the permanent links with pliers afterwards. Now it fits much better :)

Edit: the better screwdrivers (hardened tips) worked out well after doing WD40 and acetone and boiling

In the end, as I felt I was going to damage the screws I took it to a watch repair place. That fella had the links off and the watches on my wrist in under 5 minutes.

You're absolutely right, you need a good screwdriver for this.
