Latest seadweller, Hanhart or vintage Speedmaster, might have to do a bit of flipping for the seadweller

that's will be a tough choice, tudor seems much more versatile :D

check him out bud, independent maker, pretty good attention to details for his pieces.

Hi from Oz

I intend purchasing a gen date just 29mm 69188. I am looking to discuss issues such as what to look for with the documentation first. Being a fairly newbie since mid last year, I still dont know much, so this is through a reputable jewellery and antiques dealer in Brisbane Australia.

What concerns me is that it was supposed to have been in a safe for many years and was owned by the lady who owned / owned DIXIBELL - and was purchased and brought back from Florida very recently. However, wouldn't you think that it would have the box and papers? No.

I have since found out (being a newbie, that the crown collection had blue boxes -

Qn 1.
the story is that it was brought back very recently and came across the traders desk when my dealer was there.
Is it worth much less if the box and papers are not with it and do you guys think it is a bit 'sus'?
I have seen and handled. I have seen the 'service card' from rolex and it was serviced in 2012 in Florida.
I don't know how to post a pic... so I'm on a learning curve here.

Am I able to GET the papers - say from Rolex? Should I request them or try contacting the original owner?

Would appreciate any bit of help that you would like to give.

This is obviously a significant once in a lifetime purchase for me so guys - I would really appreciate even direction to info about papers etc. and purchasing agen.

Qn 2. Is someone willing to assist me further as I have a lot to learn here before I make final payment as maybe I'm posting in the wrong place?

Wish the sub did fit.... even a 36mm date just is too big for my puny wrist... good luck bud, nice choice.

The Heritage Black Bay is a really nice watch. Classy with a vintage feel.

I have been debating whether this is worth the money.

Now that I've finally got the gen Sub, I have been thinking about what my next gen will be and a few, exciting possibilities have come up in my mind:

- Omega speedy (original, hesalite crystal)
- Tudor BB (red)
- Tag Moncao (Steve McQueen)

Then, yesterday, I saw a couple of Glasshute and now am seriously considering them - especially the sixties / seventies range, I think they are just so beautiful. Gonna put some pictures together and post them up soon!
