Actually, as well as the VC, I’ve been on a bit of a watch buying bender this week and also have these on order:

I had a very old version of the GMT, it was a great little watch.

And back on track. I still have not got any update yet. Still waiting patiently on mine.

Guys when we were talking about the watch being discontinued it came out a theory of how many percentage our forum can represent in the factory market.

This is what Angus wrote today, I just took a small part of a longer message.

The forums like RWI/RG/RWG only take about 20-30% sales of their production, popular watches on the forum may not be popular on their other markets.

So basically some of you guys were right. ;)

Thanks for sharing.

I am pretty sure that Angus once wrote something like 5-10% of factory sales are for forum members....maybe he was talking about a particular brand (probably AP)....but even at 20-30% we still represent a small percentage of the international rep buyers market.

Generally speaking, I bet that most of the remaining 70% of the market doesn’t know/care about SEL fit, tachy gap, tapiserie etc (ie the small details that we like to discuss and obsess over on the forums.

That’s why there is often no business case for the factories to invest in research and prototype development in order to fix a small detail, when it will not impact 70% of the market sales .....and i bet more than half of the forum members market is probably not aware of the small defects that the other half would like to have rectified.

Are you sure it’s fully wound? It’s a mission to grip the crown and wind it. I stuck mine in a watch winder for a couple of days (with programmed rest periods) just to charge the spring fully

Hmm that’s a good point. I put it in my winder and check it.
Do you think the power reserve can go down during wearing?
in case of one sided winding? because it stopped during i worn it...but yesterday i was sitting a lot and didn’t move my arm too much

that crown is micro small ^^

If winding the watch fully doesn't work and the problem persists the movement may require a good service. Not cheap but worth it

I dont know how the factory can let a screw that damaged go to the TD. Are they going to send new screws along with initial delivery?
