whats the difference between V2 and V2S?

After going through the whole thread, I am ready to purchase. Appreciate it if you can help me confirm the following jtime watch is the correct one (i.e. ZZF Ref 114060 V2).

Haven't bought watches in the past few years, I used to purchase them from trustytime. I can't find the ZZF V2 on trustytime. Seem like jtime is a decent dealer, isn't it?

Depends which movement you want. There's the option of the 2836 and the one with 3130 clone. If you're new to the game you may want to pick the 2836 but I suggest you read a little on movements before you choose

Thanks for the reply and pointing out the different movements. I appreciate it. An older guy but new to the game, no plans to mod, want to keep it simple. So a slightly more reliable (so they say) and maintainable 2836 is probably the right movement for my situation. I can live with the minor differences.

Yes I'm sure you're gonna love it. This game is a process anyway. You may get more knowledgeable with time and worst case if you want to change you can resell it here on m2m so enjoy the hobby

I prefer take the v2s to do mods , rehaut is very wrong in v2.

Great franken, but i can assure that is gen-like also ootb.
But if you wanna go franken, find arf bracelet too. And have the top!

I might just leave the mods for the LV v2s then if the LN is a good rep out of the box.

Best case for sub franken is Noob. ZZF have wrong CG.
If you can buy gen dial. Dial+bezel are more important for build franken!
