Not another one to add on the wish list.

wow that looks legit! I just wish Panerai had this in a non-destro model. I love everything about this watch except for that. I just cant conceive wearing this on my left hand.

I just love the thing that it's destro as it gives it special look in comparison with other PAM Sub's especially with that dial. Just love everything about it but will wait for KW version (and probably longer having to many inbounds lately).

I owned the Gen of this for a short time last year before I traded it and based on the pic above it looks very close! and in a limited addition of 1000pcs i doubt youll run to anyone pointing out you're wearing a rep.. the only reason i got rid of it was due to it being a destro I couldnt get used to wearing it on my left wrist.. BUT if this is priced less than 5% of the Gen and it being 95%+ close to gen in looks being a closed caseback im for sure buying one!

This is awesome! See if you can dig up some pictures of your watch while you still had it.

As stated above, the numbers on the bezel are for sure off. Also the lume color is off. What's your opinion on these points given that you've owned the genuine watch?

i cant stop staring at that hobnail dial.

i too am a hobnail/waffle junky.

such a beautiful watch. Always wanted a good hobnail dial. Im torn though. As it is closed caseback, I'm probably going to wait to see if KW will release theirs with a seagull movement at a much lower cost.

Out of sheer curiousity, on the gen is the balance wheel still at 6 or would it be rotated to twelve since essentially the movement is rotated 180 degrees. I see that this is what is going on with the rep, which is why balance wheel of the 7750 is at 5 (non destro would have been at 11). I kno it's a closed case back so it doesn't matter but just for shits and giggles, it would be interesting to know the gen layout for a destro model having a p.9000 movement compared to 7750 or st2555

Fore sure this is just an inverted P.9000 so the balance is at 12 on the gen.

So once again, st2555's layout would be slighter more accurate in terms of balance wheel placement. But again it's a case back and doesn't matter but just wanted to throw it out there

What a shame
Why do ZF get the CG so wrong!
Think I will wait for the V3 to come out

I'm getting tired of saying that kw versions are better than zf, but look at the CG: there's no comparison.
Moreover lume on hands seem to be lighter color than indices as per gen, seconds subdial markers are all the same color, bezel pips look more polished and with slightly rounded edges, pearl ring looks fatter and the first indice on the bezel looks closer to it.
Now let's see if they mess everything up with a blatantly wrong pearl as in 508. :)

Never tire of speaking the truth my friend;)

KW(V6)>ZF

They are just better at the details.

I have seen the flaws as follows:
-Lume colour is really wrong IMO
-Bezel knurling seems abit better than in PAM 389 and PAM 382 but not good enough for a new model supposedly improved
-Bezel upper external polished edge continues being a bit less wide and less polished than gen
-I don't like CG
-The CP is the typical ZFac with raised ring around
-Bezel numbers are a bit thicker as above commented and a bit sloppy
-Bezel metallic dots are sharper than gen, gen contour is much more rounded
-Bezel black stick marker from 12 to 3 area bit displaced to the right starting a bit far from the pearl
-Pearl contour seems thinner than gen
-Dial inscriptions have a font a little bit narrower than gen. PANERAI and Automatic are even a bit higher

Anyway overall quality seems good

Regarding KW-ZFac comparisons is always the same as above commented. Besides KW is usually more consistent about quality

zf 569 is coming!!

Tswatch has posted V6/KW version. Looks sooo much better. The bezel numbers and cg alone are already a winner.

The bezel is a bit not centered though.

so the age old question applies, to get the best possible is again a case of hybrids of the 2?
