You disapprove?
I'm not as obsessive as some here, but if you have a choice, why not go with one that supplies excellent QC picture resolution.

Intime has this in black NTPT as well, and is now calling them v5;
V5 updated the thickness of the watch case. Previously it was 14.2 and now it is 13.9mm. In addition, the price has dropped not because of cutting corners but because NTPT's technology is now more advanced and the cost of production has decreased a bit which turns this into a great value for money.

Even though it didn't have a winding rotor, the genuine -01 is apparently thicker than the -02;
035: 48 x 39.7 x 12.25mm (http://www.richardmille.com)
035-01: 49.94 x 42.70 x 14.05mm (https://www.aviandco.com/richard-mille-50mm-ultimate-edition-white-carbon-tpt-watch-rm35-01)
035-02: 49.94 x 44.50 x13.15mm (https://www.ablogtowatch.com/richard-mille-rm-35-02-rafael-nadal-quartz-tpt-watch/)
035-03: 49.95 x 43.15 x13.15mm (https://www.timeandwatches.com/2021/12/richard-mille-rm-35-03-automatic-rafael.html)

Does it matter? No spinning balance wheel. Better quality everything but crappy movement.

I value a high standard of finishing and correct proportions over a balance wheel which I couldn't see if it's rotating or not unless I'm holding under a magnifying glass.
The movement used in the ZF is a standard Japan Miyota 6T28, hardly crappy, and can easily be replaced.
Sonic and BBR take parts from a standard movement and assemble them in a custom plate, the first version was overbanked, either from sloppy QC or a design flaw.
How reliable will the second version be, and can it be fixed if something goes wrong?

My V2 had the same overbanking problem and died after wearing it twice. I was able to fix it the first time it stopped working but haven't been able to fix it the second time it stopped. I think after seeing the sloppiness in their new RM035 releases, which look like the same build components, that I won't buy another BBR again.

That's unfortunate.
It's not easy to reverse engineer a plate, so I do give BBR/Sonic credit for trying, even though the balance wheel of the movement they chose is comically oversized.
The base Vaucher cost $1,128 eight years ago, minimum order 25, so maybe $1,500 today.
I'd like to see a factory take that and make a true replica for around $2,500.

I'm not surprised about the overbanking, the pallet fork appears to be hanging in between two jewels without any additional bridges and has to flop about like crazy. I think there's a reason the RM one is where it is because there's a lot more support as compared to the BBR's pallet fork.

Especially for new releases.

Do you know what is the vaucher mvmt reference?
