did you saw the pictures?, ok i will reference to the. There are two evident flaws, the left space between ring and bezel and miscenterd logo. Minor flaw is the 11:00 marker. they are obvious to the naked eye compared to my old pelagos. Am I being picky?

I have reviewed old emails from the same TD and the indication not to post the QC photos is new. It seems strange to me, why shouldn't I ask other buyers of the same item for information?

Because you're meant to do your homework, and know what issues are likely with a rep watch, and be capable of making your own decisions when it comes to whether or not you're happy with a watch. You paid the money, the decision should be yours. It isn't a community activity.

QC pics are provided to you by the TD so you can confirm that the watch you're going to receive is the one you ordered, and it doesn't have any glaring, obvious issues. They're not for nit-picking and group-analysing the product in minute macro detail. If you feel that's important, then you should be the one responsible for doing it.

You got me (almost). I read those posts but I have also seen that other members of this forum do the same, so I thought it was a rule that is not always followed. In any case, thanks for the note.

It's something that's allowed, if the member wants to get a second opinion on a specific issue. In that case, a photo or two of the potential flaw in question can be posted. You need to specify what you want feedback on - not just fish for general comments.

But from my email notification it looks like your OP originally just said, "I think flaws are too evident, even when zoom out the photo to a equivalent size. What do you think?" which sounds pretty generalised - and as such, against the rules.

It has an explanation, I did not want to affect the opinion, perhaps what for me is an obvious flaw is not seen by anyone else. Anyway I am going to write to my TD about what defects that are obvious to me and hope that he responds to me.

Anyway, I think we have lost a fundamental issue that is important. This TD tells me not to upload the photos, not even to ask about non-general matters.

I understand, but unfortunately that's what made your post fall foul of the RWI rules on asking for QC feedback.

As to the TD asking you not to post the pics - well, again, that is also why RWI doesn't encourage the practice. It makes the business of a TD far more problematic if perfectly decent watches they source for customers are then rejected because the buyer has posted their QC pics online and had negative comments from a whole bunch of opinionated strangers who (for all the buyer knows) have no idea what they're looking at or talking about, and in some instances will just be trolling.
