Just had my QC pics, very happy indeed... Big worry was the non central stack I'd seen on a few, but this is great and all pretty square... Can't wait to get it now

Hey guys. Didn't seem to find an answer but how do I make the hour hand (GMT) work? It doesn't seem to keep pace with the standard hour and minute hands.
I got hold on a gen Tudor GMT insert, it's a good occasion to compare it to the ZF one.
- Numbers are a tad thinner on the ZF, but they look almost crisper than the gen.
- The color transition is a bit off the 6 and 18, but honestly not noticeable on the wrist.
- The color tones are very, VERY close between gen and ZF. The black is a tad bit lighter/blueish on the gen, but the red is almost identical and reacts the same as gen through the different light angles.
The grain of the coloring is a bit smoother on the gen if you are really picky, but here agin it's not noticeable on the wrist.
All in all, I got this gen insert to put it on my ZF GMT, but I think it's not worth the effort. The ZF is SO gen like it easily compares to the gen, without noticeable differences.
Great job by ZF here, making this GMT a superb rep (as soon as you keep your eyes off the ICHS of course ;-)).
Here come the pics :

Yes, the 22 show straight number placement on the ZF, when they are following the insert's curve on the gen.The main difference is the “22”, also perhaps the ZF is too black- should be midnight blue.

Globetrotter I have the same problem with mine as well did you ever Find a replacement ? I think it may use a Ceramic Bearing, you where able to source one please let me know I’d love to fix mine before summer kicks off
Hoping this thread hasn’t died yet. I purchased what was supposed to be a ZF GMT from a BST on a different platform I think I may have been sent a Shitter because the dial print doesn’t look that good and I don’t seem to have any matte finish in it at all. If anyone can confirm if Serial Number I768300 was used in the ZF GMT would be great unless someone is already tracking these in this forum then I apologize for posting this
If you accepted qc and watch is already sent you can post qc pics.
I place order last week at Geek Time and waiting for qc.
Haven’t read through this thread but if anyone needs more gen vs rep pics, I own both. Just lemme know if folks have questions. (Fun fact: rep is so good I never wear the gen)
