The dial and insert gen are brown, the rep VSF is slightly less saturated, the ZF is even lighter, with an almost red effect.
Replacing the p.9000 from vsf with a 7750 with a decorative plate from ZF is not directly possible, I have not seen the successful implementation of such a project, but if you take it seriously and try to implement it, then your story (success or not success) will be useful to many.
As for the shortcomings of the ZF, apart from the correct design of movt., I am ready to highlight only a slightly more correct structure and color of the lume, although for this you need to see better, and svenov - in itself it means little.
In general, it is difficult to name the part of the ZF PAM968 to which there are no complaints. Markers size, color of dial, bezel, hands, crown, CG, bezel and insert, markers on insert, AR crystal - everything is bad.
I have not compared in detail the engraving quality of the caseback and the profile of the midcase, but this is no longer decisive. Overall, the ZF is not an option for this model.
And yes, can anyone confirm that TD is currently available? Puretime recently confirmed that it is not available to order.

The funny thing is that when I saw both side by side without a gen to compare I thought the ZF looked nicer 
Aside from that I agree, on a closer look no part of ZF looks better than VSF except, maybe, the CG lever tip
