isn't the gen an open case back? Unfortunately, the front is going to be spot on but the dial is going to be a dead giveaway.

Yes, its an open case back. But thats not really something I’m worried about.

The Barakuda is well, ok. But my true love is the MilSpec. I will wait.

you mean the centre dial hole that is bigger on rep? it usually is, but i hope won't be visible in the wild

That's the one. I suppose the end product will be ok. The FF range is a sleeper super rep. Although a display case back may water down that a bit - it's still a stunning watch.
