Yea just chscked with my friend who has the ZF Aquanaut. He has the same missing screw.
This is the part of the movement im talking about.
Hey guys, got my 5296g qc in the mail today, but it has a little blemish/speckle at “swiss”. Do you guys think it’s damage or just removable dirt? Thanks

Although I can assure you on your wrist, you won't be able to see any of that blemish, so for me personally, I won't reject it because of that reason.. I have to say, by looking at your QC pics, there is plenty of finger prints on that part of the rep, and there is a very big chance that it would be wiped off.. what I would do, I would ask the TD to give it a good wipe on that part, and send you one more pic to see how it is.. letting him know of your concern.. It happened to me in the past, but like I said, these little things don't stop me from getting it, it happened to me with un-aligned markers at 12, but it was only because the angle it was taken made the markers seemed off, when the TD changed the position, and took a straight forward pic, they looked aligned and I approved it.. communicate with your TD, let him clean it properly and send you one more pic. if it is still there, it's your call to approve it or not.. I would.. as with experience, on the wrist all those little things won't matter..
Regards
Thanks. This must be it! Was thinking if I can put a small movement tab screw into that hole and secure it with a small amount of glue.It seems very likely that in there is the release of the stem. The position of the hole suggests that. Underneath the movement decoration the stem release is in that area.
My first cf strap arrived yesterday, I wanted something different from glossy black, so I ordered a glossy gray one which worried me that it didn't match the watch, but it does looks spectacular.
It gave me a little courage since I preferred to buy the strap for my 5227, but I must say that it looks great on 5296, I will order another one for my 5227 later.
Hey gents,
I’m just curious is this normal or is this something wrong and I missed it while checking QC pictures?

Appreciate your input!

Mine doesnt do this. I think your (low quality) rep strap might be a little bigger than 21mm at case, which causes the squeaking

It's the strap mate... Mine did the same thing.. The rep strap is plastic in feel and not the exact 21mm, so it doesn't fit perfectly in the lugs... Either you can buy a good strap, which personally i think this rep deserves.... or you can file it with some fine sandpaper or nailfile or something.
Either Camille Fournet is the way to go or A Collected Man like this one:

This one is only 107 euro + shipping.
Nice Nautilus btw
here is my new straps on the 5227.. the lighting is not the best, hence the colors are not carried out exactly as they look in reality, especially the blue, it looks more like grey in the pics, where in reality it is very blue.. in any case, enjoy.. and thanks to jm_brc_7057 to give us the direction..
