ZF 2023 Daytona 126500

The new steel models just started shipping to ADs. Maybe ZF was one of the first to receive the new gen 126500. Guessing this a prototype pic with 11series case and subdials..

Who will release the proper 1:1 version first: AR+F, Clean, or ZF ?

This looks nothing like the 126X model other than the bezel ring outside. Everything about it is wrong. It looks like a 116x mashup with a 126x mashup.

Brother if you want a 126500 looking dial with correct sundial thickness for your 116s we have dealers that have them.

These are just horribly wrong.

Only thing correct is markers and the crown under 6.

- Case looks "off" for some how. Need a side by side but it just already looks off. Lugs look wrong.
- Pushers wrong too. Look at where they're screwed in. They're way too close to the case compared to gen.
- Hands are completely wrong. Look at the size of the lume plots on the hands.
- Obviously subdial rings are too fat
- Crownguards are wrong. They're meant to end just as the crown slopes at an angle. You can see the crown guards stop WAYY before that on ZF:

I might sound like a fan boy, but I'll wait for Clean. Yeah they cut corners sometimes, but in terms of look, and detail, they have always gotten it 80-90% correct for all their reps, and have a proven track record with Daytonas. I can wait for a good rep. I can wait a year or two. I'm in no rush.

I guess ZF realizes that if they want to dominate the Daytona market they need to be first to market with the 126500. Maybe this also explains why they're behind on batch release because they're focusing all their effort on this.

I hear ya. I prefer the case shape, boldness and contrast of the 116500 Panda, but 11 wears so small. I’m looking forward to the larger 12 case.

Ask it says there. That's a gen pic. And if that's the prototype in ya original post, were gonna sit it out for clean to manage correctly.

Look at the markers too. While they're kinda right, the metal ring surrounding the lume plots on the markers are too thick on the ZF.

The subdial hands are also too thick. On gen they're very thin, like toothpicks, and pointed.

Yeah, we're crazy haha. It's the curse of rep owners. We own reps, so we immediately look for tells compared to gen.

I show this stuff to my girlfriend and my father and some rep friends and they legit think I'm fucking crazy. To them, everything looks kinda the same. A seiko speed timer and daytona practically are the same watch for them.

I think all PM Daytona’s should have a PM bezel. On steel, the ceramic is an upgrade, but on PM it just seems a downgrade.

The Platona would be sensational with a platinum bezel, instead of that shit-brown coloured ceramic one.

Only visual change in Rose Gold and White gold models has been dial if I'm not mistaken.
