Question and help out please, I have a Yuki movement with my modder and he says that it is very difficult to install a gen Rolex DW in it, what should I do? I wanted gen DW for my Rolex to go with the gen crystal...

That's a bit strange because you should easily swap the gen DW because it's "gen spec" movement. Many others modders have done this in the past without any problem

Any idea what about the seating is poor? The size? I'm wondering if removing the jewel on the side of the date disc would help?

A Yuki will take a real Rolex date wheel with out issues. There was an issue where It would jump an extra date due to the way the Yuki date advance was but it was handled from what I understand. As far as fit. Perfectly.

Sorry. Didn't see Mikes response. I never had an issue with a real date wheel besides the date flip issue.

Thank you all for your input! So the jewel is standing in the way and the solution is to either take it off or trim the disc a bit?

I guess it depends on what exactly is the issue. I've never had a disc that didn't "fit" only ones that didn't snap crisply. It gave me trouble for my months but as promised I spent a lot of time today troubleshooting and finally solved it!

There are three tabs that hold the disc down. Under 2 of them are jewels. It seems that some date seats have these tabs pressed in too far. The jewels are supposed to spin! I was able to take my staking set and loosen them and bit and the date discs work perfectly.

If that is the issue your watchsmith might try that.

Hello guys! I want to try to change the dish with a sa3135, because it does not have the problem with it! I try tomorrow as I finish my work.
