you guys want to give me some help choosing my first watch?

Stay away from models with dates. The magnification is crappy. Any of those watches would be a good first buy.

i agree about the 192, it is beautiful. i really want one. i know the flaws are there but i don't care. i actually like the rep better than the gen because the bezel is not at such a angle and it makes the dial look a little bigger and it looks really good to me on a ss and ti bracelett. when i order one i will get both leather and ss and ti.

OK, about the 192, can you point out what the flaws are or maybe a pic between gen and rep would help?
I am interested in it, too, but want to know how it looks like. Thanks!

i like the rep better than the gen because the bezel and the dial looks better to me. i want this watch with both bands for different looks. this one is on my list to buy. hope this is of some help and it goes without saying that joshua is a excellent dealer to get this from.

that davidsen logo 005 is defanitly on my list with a vintage brown leather strap for that old aviation bomber jacket look. just right for me!

but i would go for 111....

You can't go wrong with a decent 111 too... h version preferred with new swan neck regulator working one... Relumed and change the strap to Mario Paci line :lol: That would set you back at least 500 bucks.

pS: no short canon pin, good hand lume, good crown... go for davidsen.

I know that this will not be a popular choice ,

but from out of them all , the 112 is a standout for simplicy, elegance and very clean lines and it really "speaks:" to me! It would be an unusual standout on your wrist either on a strap OR on a really nice TI bracelet or BOTH ! You will see dozens of pams with seconds @6 or 9 , before you run into another person wearing this classic gem as stated , EVERYONE has a 111 lol

yup ur right couldnt see it!

being 1/2 blind has its drawbacks . my right retina has a hole in it agravateing : its imposible for me to see lume at night so it dosent matter if the lume is good or not lol
