Without going outside its too hard to see I think it shines a bit.not sure is as bright as the 2824.I'm just going to take the risk and order. As nobody else other than you has the sa3135 version

Just received my Noob A2824 for this, need to check with other owners, it doesn't come with the etched crown at 6?

I would be very surprised if there was not an etched crown at 6. However it will be very difficult to see without a loupe, which is correct as that is the case with the gen.
I will post pic soon when i can, but i only have a iphone6 camera.

Sorry guys i tried taking pic with my iphone 6s, but unable to get a good focus enough.
But i am very sure mine came without the etched crown, A2824 Noob.

This is the way to see it.
First remember it is not etched on the surface. Take a magnifying glass, hold the watch at an angle away from you with 6 towards you, focus the magnifying glass on the surface then move it in a fraction so it focuses below the surface, then you will see it. It will be there because they would not find a crystal for your watch without it.
Mine comes with the LEC. Its a 3135 though. I think all models should come with the LEC, you just need to look harder

Guess i just got unlucky and received one without the etch.
But all is fine, planning to get a gen xtal.
Just inform here so others plannjng to get this watch can ask TD to look out for this in case of similar defect

I keep seeing everyone stating the SA3135 is a lot better in terms of accuracy than the 2824. But the last time I got a 3135 the movement died within 4 months. Seeing as I literally just got a 2824 (Noob) because of worries regarding the movement is it really worth potentially getting a 3135? The piece is absolutely gorgeous, it's probably the best rep I've picked up in the last two years.

Got mine yesterday. Had to align the dial , date wheel isn't perfectly aligned but otherwise a fantastic watch. I'll post more detailed pics later.
