You keep saying that daytona4me and myself has agenda, I say you have an agenda and sure isn't outrage over some photos.
You do keep saying that B9 is given too much slack due to his recent donations to the forum, every cent that comes into the forum goes back into the forum in the form or upgrades and give a ways.
What motive could we possibly have when no money is involved, we take every donated watch and GIVE IT AWAY to the members, we could easily raffle it for a buck a ticket and make $300.00 but we don't because on our end of this deal it is and never had been about money. I've never even gotten so much as a discount on a watch with the exception of WBK who knocked off $5.00 once without me asking.
I do not expect discounts or money for helping administrate this forum and neither does daytona4me.
So if we take money out of the equation, what is our agenda?
The members and their best interest, always has been and always will be our agenda.
The real story here is not outrage over photos or outrage over an exclusive watch (which has already been resoved)
The real story here is that you want to sqash the competition.
B9 has great prices, great watches is in CONUS accepts credit cards and has excellent customer service.
This is the real issue here, competition.
For years dealers have insinuated that they really don't even need rep forums, almost as if you are doing us favor by being here, then all of the sudden some real competition shows up and OH MY GOD does it become painfully obvious how much money you must really make off these forums, fighting tooth and nail to get him shut down as fast as possible.
I am interested in our members getting high quality products for the best price and having good customer service, if B9 is that big of a threat to you then blow him out on price and service, you are right there at the source and have the experience, go for it!
But that would mean lower profit margins, wouldn't it? Hence the outrage.
Why is it that you and Trusty can accept credit cards all of the sudden? For years dealers said it was impossible, now it seems that all of the sudden all things are possible, I guess in reality the members should thank B9 for creating competition that creates a better buying situation for all of us.
Competition is good for the consumer and the real issue is cold hard cash, who are you trying to kid?
