Yachtmaster crown

Hi guys,

Does anyone know where i might be able to locate a crown that would fit this

I got it M2M and know absolutely nothing about its origin


The threads that engage the stem are messed up.

Im also trying to locate a clasp as this one is kinda rough

Well i tried fitting the crown from my bpsd to see if it would fit, cause im at a loss as to where to find a replacement and it slipped over the crown tube.

do they make crowns with smaller ID threads?
am i gonna have to find someone to replace the crown and the tube?



need some help guys, please

it is possible to find a crown to fit your tube, may be hard. Best bet is to swap crown and tube

Yeah seems like BPSD has 703 style crown but won't fit gen tubes. So maybe this tube is gen spec? I would just get the TC crown and tube combo as well and you'll have a mighty fine build.

So the TC crown will NOT fit the BPSD without a TC tube?

If thats the case, maybe the TC crown will fit this crown tube (im hoping anyways)
Ive already tried to contact TC about the crown but he has not answered me yet on this.
But he did tell me that he doesnt have any YM parts anymore, so no go on the clasp or bracelet.

I contacted BK and same from him

If you're trying to locate a Yachtmaster specific bracelet, you're probably going to have a bad time. Your options for that would be:

1. Browse M2M sales to pick up another Yachtmaster or a correct loose bracelet.
2. eBay possibly.
3. Or pick up a gen clasp and swap out.

Didn't realize Yachtmaster bracelet was so different from the sub oysters. You learn something new every day.

TC will answer in time, but patience is necessary as he is a pretty busy guy. But he always delivers.

There is a possibility the TC crown will ft without the tube, but thankfully the crown comes with the tube, so if it does you can swap it out.

Hopefully someone else more Yachtmaster oriented can chime in.

Well i know some ppl use the later model (milled) GMT master II clasps and also the Daytona clasps on the YMs so that is also and option if anyone has any of those kicking about, you know you can let me know on that ! Even a milled YM clasp will do

Rafflestimes has a YM clasp for sale, but it doesnt look as clean as this one, but if i cant find any of the above, ill get that one.


Swapping the crown tube is what scares me.

I just got the caseset posted to RSH this morning so it will be a while id figgure.

Ive got a swiss 2836 being sent from Adrian, but it seems to have been stuck in Customs since the 2nd.
Not really too worried about it since its legit and not a rep, all should be OK .


Ive located a Yachtmaster old style clasp at Kens store (rafflestime), but its not exactly like this one, so im not sure about it.

but in still on the lookout for a milled style GMTII Master clasp , milled Daytona clasp, or a milled Yachtmaster clasp


If anyone hears about one gimme a shout please !

Well things are going well so far.

RSH recieved my watch and already has it fixed !

I was hoping he would have a crown that fit my tube,
but he replaced them both for me !

I was scared to death to try to do that myself.


Cant wait to get it back !!

well once i get a movement in it i will.

But im getting a little nervous now about the movement.

Its been sitting at ISC chicago since the 2nd, i know it wont get seized because it nothing illegal, but im just hoping it dont get lost.

But i got a really sweet clone to throw in there untill i get the swiss.

I've got a jubilee and a watch sitting in ISC New York at the moment. They'll come to us eventually. Customs won't cock block us like that.
