Maybe it’s just my severe color blindness but the color looks yellow to me?

i also am in the same boat of buying in gen but every preowned gen has significant scuff marks due to the titanium. These might be good beaters considering even gen LHD looks rough after a short time

Vs my gen looks good, sel gap is a bit much in places and the laser etching on serials on the lugs + sels is darker on rep but looks good otherwise.

As I am just waiting for my XF Pelagos LHD i wondered if the lume will bleach with time?
The yellow color threw me of at first, but in some real life pictures from others and in the video that i got, it doesn't seem so obvious.
In the early press shots of the gen, it seems like the lume and the edge of the markers are the same color, whereas in some real life pictures it seems like the markers are slightly darker, as if the lume bleached a bit over time.
Can anybody confirm that is also the case for the rep?
Otherwise i will just have to wear mine for a year and then report back. Fingers crossed i do not get an ugly yellow POS....

The markers on the rep are very different to gen in shape construction and colour.

I would think the rep markers are to pointy?
How would they differ in construction? Seems applied rather than filled in both cases to me, or am I mistaken here?
Looks like they could easily update that but this kind of v1 probably had demand low for an already special piece.
I had the blue gen on my wrist one time and liked the titanium on the wrist feeling, so at least I get that. How much of the special flair that this watch has I will get remains to be seen...
I guess nobody has done an actual gen vs. rep comparison in real life of these?
