Well, you can't stop people thinking about factories like that, this being an illegal hobby and all but there are notable exceptions. Most recent is VSF quickly releasing a V2 PAM671 (less than two months after V1 I think) after the flaw of the hands were reported. My personal experience was with the long departed H factory. They released the PAM332 to coincide with the Expendables movie but unfortunately the spelling on the back was wrong (YACHT'S instead of YACHTS). They offered a replacement caseback for free (you either had to pay for shipping or it could be shipped on your next order from the TD). Fortunately I was in China so shipping was free and arrived the next day.

I'm willing to bet it's more like they had so many left over case backs - they probably decided to manufacture the 217 because they could use the 127 parts on this model.
From qc it's a nice watch, mentioned the case back to dealer and he asked factory, Reply was they put wrong case back. The factory did mentioned they will correct for next version. Once again that was communication between factory and my dealer only.

I doubt it. The mid-case, the crystal and the hands are the only common things with the PAM127. VSF would have to order the correct CG, the destro movement (because if it's the normal A6497, the OP logo would be inverted) and dial. Spend for all that because you had extra casebacks? Nah. More likely they planned to do a 1-2 combo with the 127 and 217 but they just messed up slightly on the 217 (and the 88 and the 1314, etc). But slight mistakes add up (or more likely bring down...) its street cred.

Fortunately that Doesn’t bother me.
It’s a PAM, who in the real world (including myself) will have that knowledge and why would they know the difference? Ha
I wonder if this release was rushed to get it out before the CNY holiday, and then they’ll release V2 with the correct caseback in April.

I've seen a few people mention a 368. Are they making a 368? I'd like to see that. Especially to see what they do with the movement. .Yeah, and will make steel 368. This has already happened, also with a black dial.

There was one very old rep that was not popular because it had little resemblance to gen.
They did nothing with the movement, there was a standard 6497.
It was in the old puretime directory, for example. But, I do not think that it makes sense for you to search. It was a long time ago and badly done.
At the same time, I would be incredibly happy if some factory would do it in a more or less decent form. This is a beautiful watch, and slightly more interesting than the regular 127/217 due to the brown dial and titanium case.
