i can see the difference in those 2 pictures. XF crystal looks close to Pam605.

XF has closer distortion (or lack of) to 605 than to gen 127.

I am sure that among the QCs, we will soon see all the options, from very crooked to very perfect. For me, the less distortion, the better, the main thing is that the height is good and the shape of the dome (the radius from which the bevel begins to the edges is correct.

XF Crystal looks more like gen 127 than that 605 any day of the week ?!

Well I know I will be happy, and that’s all that matters to me .
Small differences in distortion are pretty insignificant to my eyes, and I’m fairly sure no one is going to shout, excuse me, but your 127 seems to have slightly less distortion than the gen that 99.9% of the population will never have seen.
I’m sure It’s distortion will not cause me any sleepless nights.

Folks .. this watch is legit good.. who the F will notice the distortion difference.. and if they do.. well it could have easily been replaced along the way with an after market on making perfect sense.

While I owned this ZF, I dreamed of having a crystal like today's XF.
I am sure that the less distortion, the better the inner surface of the "slope" is processed.
There is always distortion, but in my opinion, it should be almost absent at right angles.

Wso supplies quality crystals from what I understand. If anyone's crystal on the forums needs to be replaced, that's generally where they get them.
