Lume is hard to tell from QC pics as it is probably charged. Compared to gen shots all over instagram it looks pretty accurate.

I think the mods for this one to be ideal is: bevel canon pinion on hands, flatten bezel screws and plate with white gold, and silence rotor.

Anything else experts?

I thought the lume fix was pretty much the selling point of this v2, no? The lume color isn't perfect in the V2, noticeably inferior to the JF but still an upgrade overall. The videos I've seen through Tim's QCs seem to support this when comparing them to the videos of V1s.

It's been mentioned many times now... It's due to the new dial, the texture has been raised higher, probably explains the printing difference. But reality is we've seen no / or very few of v2 in real life with good photos.

what we 've seen so far from qc clearly showed the v2 dial is worse than v1 (marker lume aside). the printing is clearly inferior for the reason you mentioned probably but worse than the printing, the uneven tapisserie is a clear downgrade dial wise.
color shown in the last page on v2 are not gen like, the dial shown as v2 seems to be purple tinted, there is no purple reflexion on last generation of gen dial (MK3)....

No it's the bezel screws. Dial looks worse in some aspects and for line we don't know yet, require real life pics when members receive theirs

Yes looks to be a V1 to me too. Position of bezel screws as well as shape of the tapisserrie.

Hey guys, about the lume color discussion: I spoke with a TD about the yellow v white color on my order, he received photos of the gen the factory used and it too has yellow tinted lume. So, he reported they fixed this issue after an early batch of v2s contained white dial lume.

Are you saying that they 'fixed' the lume issue by going back to yellow tinted lume on later release V2s?

Yes, that’s what XF said. The lume color on the gen includes a yellow tint too from the pic.

I'm not saying the factory is lying but I have looked many 15202st on Chrono24 and I can't find ONE that has different colors on markers and hands so it's a bit strange I think.

Look for yourself on different pieces if you want, maybe I'm blind:

I recieved my QC today and I declined for the reason that the markers are back to more yellow (not like the TD shows on their website). Maybe I have a bit OCD but that part is important to me.

My QC:

If, the markers on the new V2 has correct color on the markers then the hands are too white. Something doesn't match anyway...

heh, if that really is a gen makes me question the rep crown! also curious how well the date fonts match, even though its different numbers for some reason the fonts seem different

Li's original pics he posted clearly show the difference in colour compared to gen pics online which do seem more uniforrm between hand and dial, and most dealer websites only mention a mod to the handset with the V2, see poor translation below, and certainly no mention of lume colour. im not sure which factory is the middle and right hand side, or maybe one of them is a V1.

I think if we do see a QC example and the hands seem to match more closely will relate to lighting conditions rather then any change.

I suspect we won't see any further improvement until this batch of watches/dials is sold.

Of course, if you check out puretimes HR video, the colour actually looks pretty darn close..

After having seen this side by side picture I don‘t care so much for the marker lume as I am shocked by the difference in steel color and ask myself what steel alloy XF uses...
How can the real one almost shine like white gold and the rep steel be so dark in comparison?
I don‘t wanna know what the XF BC salmon dial will look next to a gen white gold BC lol

I see Gen as same lume and V2 still showing greener or yellower on markers whiter on hands.
