Since I had already paid the 45mm and the only available was, I decided to go with 43mm and I received today the QC pictures of it.

The 45mm model was delisted temporarily, because factory side said that there were some issues with the production, and they had to delay it further before officially releasing it.

So, the big tell, is the gold/brass wheels that are viewable from the front at 6 and 12ish and which are black on the original. I wonder if the factory will upgrade this going forward, or whether during a service they could be painted.

The 43mm version is really a great rep with amazing built quality. The movement also feels very swiss-like (time + date setting; chrono pushers). The only downside is, that the „clone movement“ is no real colunm-wheel movement.
However, for me it‘s no keeper because the all-black design is too high-tech to fit my style. I will probably put it up in the sales section for other interested EU-based members.

im a noob here looking to make this tag my first purchase. From experience what’s the lifespan of these watches? How long to they tend to work for? Assuming a service is a no go due to not being gen?

It would last the same as the original, once I had an original tag carrera 1887 and the match broke down from inside the service in tag as very very expensive since then I decide not to buy original no more, also some people just unveil that tag watches have no Swiss machine they use Japanese machines as good liars

Cal. 1887 is (was) a modified Seiko chrono movement, TH produced under license. Other brands put a branded rotor on an ETA and call it an inhouse movement

You guys that have owned this rep, how would you rate the movement? Is it loud or silenced? Do you feel the rotor when the watch is on and off wrist when your rotate the watch? Looking into this model but not sure if its worth it if the watch feels too much like a cheap DH Gate/Aliexpress replica if you know what I mean..
