Bezel looks ok to me. The gen has several versions where the color and brightness varies.

Exactly, I've looked closely at the movement and it is a modified 7750 with a deco plate in the back.

Look not bad, but this one is old version, and 45mm size is too big, hope the XF can make new 43mm version with the brown version too.

The straps' attachment mechanism seems to be unique and specific for this watch. Unless you own a gen and want a cheaper source for a rubber strap, I doubt these straps would fit any other watch.

I do not think this is a new movement. Maybe there are some newly designed parts to fit an A7750 base movement (datewheel being the most obvious example), but that's it.

Yea I do own a gen, this is why I was asking. I was quoted HKD$1200 for the gen straps just last week. Pretty exciting to see this coming out.

Rep has a brushed bezel for some reason, looks all wrong compared to gen.

I've seen pre-owned mint condition gens on Chrono 24 for for £2k. Not sure a rep costing £400 with delivery is a particularly good value proposition

It's not an easy fix, and definitely not worth the effort for the makers. For most people, it's close enough

It means it’s 7750 movements with fancy cover plate.
Same as old reps.Not good for a rep with almost $500 price tag with shipping and conversion.
