I'm loving that truck, in particular the V8 Turbodiesel with 10 speed Allison tranny

25 years ago I had a Range Rover which I fitted with the GM 6.5 Turbodiesel V8 and a modded 700R4 trans coupled to the Land Rover Transfer, plus a whole bunch of other mods.
That was some animal for towing and launching my powerboats

Is that Bezel a modification, or did it come from a factory like that ?

I've never seen one like it, and I don't like the standard "Lions Mane" Bezels they come with.
I was actually thinking of using an OP smooth bezel case I have here and putting Day Date guts in it, but one with that bezel would be even cooler

Thank you, this is one of my favorites and what I've been wanting for a long time. It is a discontinued ARF 116234 Datejust with gen dial, hands, date wheel, and crystal.
I sourced a 16264 white gold Turnograph bezel to replace the stock plated fluted bezel. The 16264 had my favorite Turnograph bezel and it was a direct fit to the 116234 case.
