You are right. It's a 2500 US gallon tank with a pump. Where I am there is no fire hydrants in any of the villages we cover. So it's always a race to get water to the intervention. We pump it from lakes and rivers even in winter. We have 5 trucks in 3 firehouse (I don't know the other words for it in english, blame Chicago Fire). It's not alway easy and we need more firefighters but it's never boring.
