Oh my.... this love at a millionth sight!!! This is my favorite 6265 combination--silver dial with the bakelite. I am really going to have to cave and get one of these for the collection. What a classic!!!!!! Is this the cartel version or something fancier (DW, Yuki or, gulp, phong)???

Today is a rare "Two-fer Tuesday," with a TAG Monaco Chrono and a basic Rolex Sub (no date), and both are from the un/underused watches themes. I wore the TAG then realized why I don't wear it -- it just doesn't appeal to me so it'll be up for sale soon. The basic Rolex Sub no date was the backup choice. Just your basic Sub. dave:

Wow...great thread on this build. I have a hunch you got a.bargain. foe that watch. Try scoring a V72 today. Those are few and far between. Building a decent monte carlo ho.template has also become much more difficult. Yuki no longer sells the monte carlo 7031 or 7032 cases and DW is well DW, leaving on Phong as the only decent option at very high prices. If you ever decide to sell, I would be VERY interested!
