Hey! How do you like your Platona? I'm not quite into modern Daytona's, except for this particular model!

It's great, there's a few obvious flaws but these are due to the Seiko VK Quartz movement, however I'm happy with this compromise as I know I have a reliable time piece that in 3 months is keeping perfect time and requires no adjustments. The sub dials are smaller than than the gen and are not quite in the correct positions but the chrono works with a sweeping second hand, I understand many of the other reps don't. The 3 o'clock sub permanently runs (minutes), whereas the gen runs only with the chrono and the 6 o'clock sub (seconds) doesn't sweep.

The above issues are due to the Seiko VK movements but they're compromises I'm happy with in return for a watch that should require little attention apart from a new battery once in a while.

Hey man, thanks for the detailed answer! Didn't know they used a Seiko movement, Quartz at that!
