You are correct. I think 453A is the newer number. Here is a link to the info used to confirm the bracelet number. The price of this Gen is twice what I have paid for other Breitling bracelets. I must be the number of parts that make up this bracelet.

Thanks a lot.

This bracelet retails for 10-15k€ so it is at least twice as expensive as other Breitling bracelets.

It makes it more difficult to press the Buy Button. I thought about buying it for my Navi A24322 until I saw the price. I am not comfortable buying a used off eBay from an individual and ending up with a Rep bracelet.

I love my pro 2 bracelet. Have it for years now and still it’s awesome. Studied both gen and rep whilst holding in my hand, but could not spot any differences. (I did oiled it when I got it.) Taste of course, but I find the 3 less unique.

I see your point. This particular bracelet is on sale on a Swedish watch forum. I believe that it makes it a little bit more credible than Ebay. Especially since the seller has tons of good reviews.

Since I have your attention. I have a STAIB mesh that is too short for me. Im thinking about removing the outer ends of the tubes that holds the springbars and attach the end bits from a gen ocean racers mesh.

My question is. Would the mesh unfold or break if the tube is removed?

All the best

Chris

Glad you have a better place in Sweden. I looked at my Staib close. I think you would ruin the bracelet. I would not try it. I did search how to extend a Staib Mesh bracelet. Staib sells polished or brushed links. https://www.watchstyle.com/accessori...ion-links.html
Another option is to buy the AN Factory Deployant for $170 that has an adjustment slide. If this is of interest I can measure the maximum mm you can gain with it.

Here are the dimensions for the AN Deployant in the closed position from spring bar to spring bar.
Longest position 30mm
Shortest position 20mm

My wrist is 165mm . I have bought the 150mm length Staib.

What length Staib did you buy ?

The clasp on the STAIB is longer than 30mm.

I also bought the 150mm one but my wrist is 18.5 cm.

The extra links is a good idea but with the long clasp and two extra links the part without mesh would be so long.

I will try and sell it here as well.

These are my gen deployant and bracelet on my gen SA. They click much smoother than the reps. Even though the reps have improved greatly. If you plan on keeping the watch for a while it's worth the money.

I sent emails to STAIB and Timedesign asking about the possibility to modify the bracelet.
