Thats what it was
When i first graduated high school and was a poor student, my freinds and I used to shop at this discount food store.
We tried everything we could think of to save money on food items, including buying very rubbery mutton to make hamburgers (lamburgers).
This was one of the beers we tried.
It had like powdered beer in it.......very powdery (it was a liquid, just lots of powder floating in it )

Many many moons ago, I remember Falstaff in NO canning a White can, black letter generic beer for K&B Drugs. IIRC, it wasn't half bad. Powder in beer is not such a good thing. Yuk!
When i was in high school my best friends father used to drink Orbit Beer. Brewed in Miami but tasted OK for us teenagers when we could sneak a few out. Now the cans are collectibles.
In college we used to drink Busch Bavarian in returnable bottles. I think it was $1.99/case if you brought in the case of empties. And any roomate that lost a bottle was severely chastised.

A Belgian Branded beer over here in the UK called "Blue Moon". Imagine crushing handfuls of parsley into an overly carbonated "bad" lager. Avoid at all costs.
