Why no 1:1 aftermarket pearl for subs?

Maybe this has been covered but I could not find it. It seems the pearl is the #1 tell, so why no aftermarket replacement? Any ideas?

Same question with a 1:1 pearl a BK DSSD would just about be a 1:1 Replica.

I've wondered this too myself, WHY is the pearl so hard to get right?

I think there are a ton of guys on here who pay $100 for an exact copy. Can cost more then a few $ to produce

Someone should get to it!

The Chinese factories wont change anything because their product keeps selling. Someone will just have to take their own initiative.

freakin insane amount of money for a crumb sized spec of an item.
how about a small chunk of solid gold? money better spent imo.

A chunk of 99.9 pure gold that size would be worth far less money. That would be like a gram or less ($50 or less)

Outer casing is stainless steel with a blob of lume in the centre covered by a sapphire lens. Thus the difficulty of making a 1:1 rep pearl.

I read on another forum that a member cracked a pearl and Rolex could not be fixed they had to replace the whole bezel. I guess it must be very difficult.

Its a separate part of the bezel and you can buy aftermarket replacements or have Rolex fit it on a gen if it needs it. I cant think of a situation, unless the entire pearl section of the bezel was damaged, where they couldn't just pop it out and put in a new one.
