Just got it in today! Pbdad did a awesome job! I purchased this as a catch and release. It had alot of flaws. Pbdad relumed dial and hands. *Painted the gmt hand a vintage red. It was a metallic red, completely ridiculous Changed the date disk which was orange. * Drilled lugs placed Gen insert and Clark xstal also did crown guards. I got a good deal on a Gen vintage jubilee

He's in Cali. Roughly a month.

That last pic is how the watch looks before the mods. Never buy Josh 1:1 1675 with the aged markers. They're orange. Don't look like real patina

Nice. Mine is no were near a Gen. But it's a far improvement from The stock version that I received. Eventually going to swap the dial, crown and bezel. But it's a start. :)

BigJule, this is for you since we've been talking about this back and forth. These pics are with my half broken point-n-shoot, so bear with me.

It's really hard with my camera to catch the dial's texture, but here's the best out of a dozen or so attempts.

Here's a couple shots of my crazy thick clark crystal. I told you I like 'em thick!

Does anyone have any idea if this dial would fit? http://www.yukiwatch.com/catalog/item/6380817/7445571.htm

You'd have to make sure your dial is 27mm and shave the feet of the yuki since it's for the gen 1575.

This is a custom build by a guy at rwg. It used a mbw case, and I don't know where the dial came from. I'll try to find out.

I don't know where the dial came from.

Dude, if that dial ISN'T gen, it's the very best rep I've ever seen. Compare yours to my Gen Mk1 dial (circa 1967-70ish). Your printing seems a bit heavier, and your coronet is thicker, but the fonts and spacing are spot on. And the Long "E" in ROLEX (the center bar). . . I've not seen that on a rep dial. If it is rep - I'm going to guess it came from ingod44 or an older MBW dial some of which were stellar.

Looks like someone re-lumed it and hit it with a coat of matte, but that dial sure looks gen to me.

It should, but it's up to you whether you want to invest this kind of money in this particular watch. Yes, it's an improvement over your current dial. But in certain ways it has just as many flaws. The GMT dial never had the flat "s" and wide top "a" the way submariners did. The AS in MASTER really sticks out as does the s in superlative.

That's awesome, thanks for making me feel a little better about my 1675. As you know, the end link problem is driving me nuts.

Thanks. I see that the yuki dial isn't perfect but it's alot crisper dial then what's on there plus it's not crazy expenive either. How hard is it to place a Gen dial on a eta movement? Boosting that dial is superb. I want it! :)
