@tak You should check out Chick Corea's "Light as a feather" album.. some awesome music way ahead of it's time (around the late 70s, early 80s) but holy harmonies batman.. modern quartal and parallel harmonies.. you name it.. Chick Corea is krayzee i tell ya.

I watched him and the Electric Band live w/ Dave Weckl, Frank Gambale, Eric Marienthal, and some bass player (not John Patitucci) and they ROCK!

Mogwai, Smog, Low, Joanna Newsom, Sleater-Kinney, Frank Zappa, Nine Inch Nails, PJ Harvey, Nick Drake ... and many, many more.

ps. I reckon musicliket is a spambot, just gearing up. Nobody likes Paris Hilton for her music.

OK, enough with the jazz

I listened to jazz back when I was 15

I moved on

I do listen to some jazz but after the mid 70's , nothing new and big was ever invented in jazz.

just pretty much reashed and renovated ideas of old.

Yeah Bitches Brew is some great listening! Never thought I'd run across a jazz head here. I knew it was something special about the Dark Side!
