As long as you have aproved the QC and/or not asking any openended questions in regards to QC. I think you are allowed to post.

Technically not wanting to get called out while wearing a rep would be wanting to pass the rep off as gen. There are two main reasons for this, first, you want to show everyone that you're wearing this expensive watch and you want them to believe you (which is probably what @dmastah12 understood from your post), the other being, you just want to enjoy wearing the rep in public, without worrying that owners of the gen will recognize the rep from a mile away and harass you for it (which is probably what you were talking about). So both valid although differing points of view.
