Which Planet Ocean Master Chrono?

Hi all,

I've been browsing this forum for a while now and decided to subscribe in order to ask for some advice.

I'm planning to buy an Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean rep and I'm in doubt about which version I should buy.
Since there are a lot of versions which all look similar,I was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction (which version, which seller)

I was going for a rose gold plated model. However, I read some bad stories about the gold plating rubbing off after a while on reps (correct me if I'm wrong).
That's why I'm looking for a stainless steel model with a black or blue dial (strong preference towards black though)
I ended up with those listed below. I found them all on intime. Do they sell good Omega reps or should I look elsewhere for a better price-quality ratio? And could anyone share their experience with one the below listed versions?

I can’t answer in the gold plating question as I don’t have any experience of it.
I can however recommend intime as I have purchased from them including a PO although not one of these versions.
I’m sure someone will advise on these actual models as they are popular.

1stvthinf I should mention, I've been around the rep forums a long time (had to start over with no account because I couldn't recover my old account) and had several different models and versions of replicas of the Planet Ocean

I strongly advise not going for OM/OMF/JHF, all different names for the same factory.

I had a non-chrome blue dial/bezel SS Planet Ocean from the above mentioned factory, it looked good overall, but the pearl could have been better (took almost 2 months to have one sourced with a decent pearl and then to have it shipped and arrive to me), furthermore I didn't realize until I got it, but the bezel insert wasn't aligned quite right in the bezel, so it always appeared off by half a click

furthermore the date wheel seemed badly aligned on some dates.

sadly the only other current factory doing these Omega Planet Oceans is BP, so go with BP if you can; and I'm pretty sure BP does all versions of the Chrono Planet Oceans but I might be wrong.

TyrantbladeX: thans for your insights! Could you tell me where I can find BP versions and how I can distinguish OM/OMF/JHF versions from BP versions?

Haha allright, my bad, I'm quite new to this.
However, the OM version (1st one on the list in thetopic start) is an updated version (V2) and probably different from the one you owned?

What do you mean by fake counters?

BP version will be listed as BP in the description and has a better pearl/pearl position as probably the most obvious thing in the chrono versions of the Planet Ocean.

I just wouldnt go with anything besides BP here as you may end up with one that had misaligned bezel/bezel insert or date wheel like I did.

also the watch only last like 2 months before it stopped, which has never happened to me with any other replica watch.

I think by counters he means the Chronograph dials may not actually work because some movements in replica chronograph only look like a chronograph on the dial and actually lack 1 or 2 functions.

Something I should mention, idk if BP makes the updated models in this case, so you may have to get the OM/OMF/JHF if you want the 9900 version instead of 9300.

That they aren't working at all or have a different behaviour (If I recall correctly the 7750 has the chrono minute counter at 3... while that Hontwatch Omega has the hour counter... actually Hont says : "The Subdial at 3:00 does not have the genuine real functions due to limitations of the Asia 7750 movement")

Okay but maybe yours was an exception. It doesn't necessarily mean that all OM/OMF/JHF reps suffer from misalignment and other issues right?

And just wondering, how do you know that the BP ones don't have these or other issues? Could you provide me with reviews/comparisons that support this?

i'm sorry if I sound mistrusting, I just want to buy the right one ;)

Yeah maybe I did just get unlucky, its just in my experience I have never owned anything besides a nearly perfect Noob or BP factory Planet Ocean (I've had a few and only ran into the fading bezel paint problem on the black bezel 8500 model)

Noob is out of the Planet Ocean Game, so if I were to go to that rodeo a 2nd time around I would go BP; the Pearl seems to look better and is better positioned and I'm much more confident in that factory than the OM/OMF/JHF.

you could change factory after the order of you find that the OM (or w/e) factory version isn't satisfactory.

That's just my somewhat limited experience (any my opinion) though; it's not an absolute certainty as I've never had watched from the 2 factories at the same time to compare.

I've read a lot of good stories about the Noob POs indeed.
Also, the LMPO seems of a higher quality compared to the CrPOs I listed. I came across this beauty
https://www.intime02.co/omega/3982-...1-1-noob-best-edition-free-leather-strap.html

Only drawback is that it's only 42mm. Does anyone know if there is an 45mm available?

There is no 45mm in Gen form as the LMPO is a limited edition that they only made in 42mm; and so I'm pretty sure the rep factories never made a 45mm version as that's not true to Gen.

the LMPO is the only Planet Ocean that Noob makes anymore, so if you get a Noob CrPO it will be old stock instead of a freshly put together watch (AFAIK they don't make new stock of that model anyways last I knew)

Okay thanks! I decided to order the 42mm LMPO from Chazingtime since there have been some issues with intime concerning compromised credit cards. I will post the QC pics here once I have received them!
