^ Has to go back to IWC for fixing that date? Really?

So these complicated watches if you stuff up a setting on one of the functions its not an easy fix? Thats annoying as hell if thats the case. Do you have to keep it running 24by7 on a winder?

I always let my local IWC set the date on my Perpetual Calendar, one you go to far ahead you can't go back.

What Breitluc said! This perpetual calendar is so advanced and complicated, that once you set the date, the watch will keep the correct day and corresponding date for the next 392 years or something to that extent. But the drawback is that if you happen to accidentally PASS your current date, there is no way to work backwards. It needs to go to IWC to have the date reset. My father's perpetual Patek is the same way.

Yes it's annoying, but it's the price you pay for having such an advanced calendar function. You should keep it wound and running, but it's no big deal if it stops as bringing the date up to current is easy.

Damn soooo beautifull!

Thank yoU!!

Probably the wrong place for this, but I need a bracelet for my newly acquired 3717. Let me know if you have one. Thanks!
