It is a YLF, the upper part of the 6 number is round , whereas in the gen and in ZF the upper part is slightly cropped to follow the contour of the subdial.

Exactly. Also, the shape of the 3 gives another clear indication of YLF.

I note, however, that it looks like YL has improved the 3 on their latest release of a green-dialed 3714. But they've kept the 6 the same. I'm a big fan of everything else about their 3714s though!! I would be ecstatic if they could just make the 6 look like gen.

Thank you! It’s a gen I just picked up used on the ‘Bay. Love the Nato strap. The seller threw it in because the original strap was well-worn. I had a V6F version which I liked a lot. A lot of people on this board favor the MK version but for me, I like the V6F. The size is correct (I compared it to gen) and I feel like the bezel looks better on the V6F. The biggest difference I saw was that the V6F dial was less metallic and whiter than the gen. Great rep though. I’ll post a picture if I can find one.
