Just swapped an ETA 7750 into the 3777. Thought I would keep the ETA white date wheels since the red ones aren't very good. Kinda like the black on white.

Did you have to get new hands? How did the swap go?

I used the A7750 hands so it was not easy. The sub hands are just a tad bigger on the A7750 so they did fit ok. If you were to pull them on and off a lot I would get worried they were too loose. The hour and minute fit perfect. The chrono seconds is the tough one since its too small. Had to gently enlarge it with a pin. But, once you do that it won't be tight enough to the pinion and slip when it gets reset. So I used cement to glue it in. Tricky since you need to make sure it's centered correctly and stuff.

All in all very happy with it and learned a lot. I don't want to wear it though since its too big for me! So I'll keep it mint and flip it to someone who can give it a good home.
